Hello there,
Well, first of all, sorry for no posts from neither Livie nor I. But I have an update on the current production I'm in, Seussical the Musical. Firstly, I did not receive the Bird Girl part, they gave it to some other girl my age. Secondly, my Mom was going to get some help to sow my costume, BUT it's due at the end of the Month, so we searched for HOURS today at the mall.
And Right when we were ate our wit's end, I saw it... Yes! Okay, so picture this, a Mother and a daughter running through every department store, clothes store, (and even a pretty dress store...) and trying to find a 40's style dress, in either, Pepto-Bismol pink, True lemon yellow, robins egg blue or orange. No white, black, green, blue, pink, etc. etc... So you know how nearly IMPOSSIBLE it is to find a dress with NO white or black on it?!?! In one of those FOUR colors, in the RIGHT style?!?!? Nearly impossible...
But, as my Mom and I nearly descended down the escalator, I happened to glance over... And what did I see? Right there, in the bathing suit part, I saw two different colored bathing suit covers (They were NOT just a piece of fabric, you could use it as an every day dress even.) Two colors... One in robins egg blue, and one in true lemon yellow. Well, I nearly fell over, I almost didn't mention it to my Mom, due to DONENESS with trying to find a dress!
But I did, my Mom told me later that right at that moment, she was asking God why we didn't find a dress for me today after she prayed about it earlier. I mean isn't God good? So amazing... So anyways, we picked the lemon yellow one, and since it just had straps, we found a cute pink cardigan spring type short sleeve sweater. Once I have the complete costume, I will take a picture and post it on here. It looks like SUCH a dress a Citizen of Whoville would wear. That's it folks! TTYL,

Hey Bloggers!
Well, I finally got a call from Lisa (the lady that organizes everything) for the musical at the HS. This year is Seussical (ironic huh?) So, anyways, she called and said that, aside from missing a couple of rehearsals, I got a chorus (they haven't divided the Who's and the Citizens of the Jungle of Nool yet) But, like last year, some people with higher roles couldn't do the musical. SOOOO, there are a couple of Bird Girl positions (which is like lead chorus basically) So, I REALLY need your prayers that I WILL get a bird girl! I'd be sooooooooo happy if I did! Sure it isn't a lead but I would give nearly anything to get a role higher then the usual "chorus" that I seem to achieve. So, thank you for your prayers. I have a rehearsal later tonight! TTYL,

Auditions and Stress Week
Hey! Sorry I haven't posted about this sooner, I've been too busy to get on the computer the past few days! Last night I had an audition for.................(drum roll)......................Mulan at the theater where I usually do my drama!!! It went really well and I'm feeling really good about it. This was the first audition were I felt better about the singing portion than the acting portion but it all evened out in the end. I find out tomorrow if I got a call-back or not, I really hope that I do! I'd really like to be Mulan or Yun (the ancestor who represents Love). I was kind of wondering if I'd even have a chance at Mulan but my parents keep saying that, if I color my hair, I'd make a great Mulan so now I don't know...If you know me, what do you think???
Now that my Mulan audition went well, though, I have a problem...A while ago, I decided that I would also audition for the City of Novi's youth theater show. They're doing Seussical Jr. (surprise! lol Nicki! ;] ) I think that I have a good chance at a really good part in that show but I need to decide which show I'm doing by next Wednesday (the cast list for Seuss comes out on Friday...the day after my audition) and the cast list for Mulan doesn't come out until the beginning of next month because that theater company is working on another show right now. So it's going to be a big guessing game. Please pray that God gives me guidance. In any regular situation, I'd probably just do Seuss and then audition for the next EAP show, but, I just found out a few weeks ago that Mulan is, well,.....it's going to be EAP's last show. Our director is retiring and moving away...... :*( I just don't want to give up anything that God has for me because I'm being emotional....but I really want to be there for the last EAP show (I have been acting with them for 4 years, after all). Just pray that God will make His path clear to me... : \
Thanks,
~Livie
